TransitScreen is the pioneer in multimodal transportation displays featuring custom live, real-time dashboard of all transportation options at a location. Our mission is to fix mobility challenges by increasing awareness of transportation options and promoting sustainable communities. We sell different software licenses (physical/lobby, mobile, desktop, and projected displays) to a variety of different clients (property owners, universities, large employers, and more) in the United States.

We are seeking candidates with interests in transportation, real estate, and technology. As the Business Development and Operations Intern, you will first understand our client’s needs and wants, and determine creative solutions for them. Additionally, our fast-growing company is extremely open to new business development ideas via CRM’s, email campaigns, digital marketing tools, conferences, etc. Further, you will work on improving our existing systems and operations. If you have an idea, we WANT to hear it. The successful candidate will work from TransitScreen’s San Francisco office.

Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:

Learn how to grow our relationships with existing customers.
Coordinate with Head of Growth and COO.
Research and identify new potential customers.
Design and manage lead generation strategy.
Work with our existing CRM system, databases, and systems to make everything more efficient.
Territory: West Coast and special projects.
Characteristics we are looking for:

Background in sales, business development, and operations is required. Familiarity with transportation and urban policy and planning is preferred.
Market and Lead Research: Able to assess potential target customer(s) by reviewing media, trade publications, and conducting open source research.
Self-motivated. Looking for people to break through walls to get things done.
