INCOG is seeking applications for a Land Development Planner. Duties include: evaluating, processing and making recommendations on various applications for zoning changes, Planned Unit Developments (PUD), variances, special exceptions, subdivisions, PUD site plans, landscape plans and sign plan applications in Tulsa and Tulsa County. As part of these responsibilities, the person in this position will work with applicants to support development proposals that encourage high quality growth and development which is an asset to Tulsa and implements adopted plans, policies and regulations.

The successful applicant will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work well with the general public. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required. Additional computer skills desired include proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access or other database programs.

Minimum of 3 years experience in urban planning required, specifically working with site plans, zoning codes, subdivision regulations and land development processes. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in urban planning, landscape architecture, architecture or related field is preferred.

Annual salary range starting at $40,000, although specific compensation based on candidate’s qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
