The Housing and Community Development Specialist II (HCDS II) is considered a highly skilled practitioner who serves as one of the Division’s highest-level policy experts, possessing the skills, knowledge, and abilities required for conducting high-level research, analysis, and development of programs and policies of the highest priority.



Some of the responsibilities may include:
*Facilitate meetings with external stakeholders, including local and state agencies, nonprofit organizations, developers, and individuals.
*Collaborate with other members of the Housing Accountability Unit, attorneys in HCD’s Legal Affairs Division, the Legislative Division, other HCD teams, and the Office of the Attorney General.
*Produce policy-related documents, including technical assistance and enforcement letters, technical guidance, reports, legislative analyses, and/or talking points.
