Associate Position:

Under the direction of senior management and working out of either the Berkeley or Sacramento office, the Associate will support project teams across all BAE offices in a wide range of public- and private-sector client engagements. Associates work as part of a team to complete technical analyses and reports and provide support for activities such as preparation of proposals and presentations, and special projects. Associates are expected to plan and execute analytical tasks, prioritize multiple assignments, and complete deliverables in a timely manner with creativity and attention to detail.

This position requires:

-Masters degree in city and regional planning, business administration, public policy, or another related field
1-2 years relevant work experience
-Understanding of the real estate development process
-Strong analytical and quantitative skills
-Strong professional writing skills
-Driver’s license and ability to travel
-Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Skills and experience in pro-forma financial modeling, fiscal impacts, demographic trends, GIS, IMPLAN and statistics software packages are desirable, as is a working knowledge of the Northern California region.
