Entry Level Position

Job Description
Administrative Assistant - (50%)
Research and track local sustainability, and transportation zoning ordinances and government regulations at the city level
Prepare and develop supporting materials for transportation demand management (TDM) reports, including draft project descriptions, editing documents, formatting materials, and graphics, researching project-site related transportation features and options that support reducing drive-alone activities
Commute Coordinator (50%)
Employer/Client engagement - Interface with employer/tenant contacts (may include Property Managers or Office Managers
Lead superb internal customer relations, serving as the single point of contact for responding to commute transportation questions and feedback; oversee customer service and issue resolution.
Manage site-specific needs, acting as an “Employer/Commuter Concierge,” providing supportive service, which may include bike locker/cage/room access, Emergency Ride Home implementation, commuter/employer engagement.
Implement survey and tracking processes for gathering participation data, metrics and analyzing/reporting data for decision making.
Manage logistics for informal and expanded commuter events (such as tabling locations, working with property managers, employers, and clients to meet their needs, and managing online and on-site registration).
Support other events as required.
Manage commuter-specific target lists – using CRM-based programs, such as OneCommute (RideAmigos, LUUM, Salesforce).

Qualifications
Required
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Proactive organizational and project management skills
Excellent client-facing communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated self-motivation, ability to work independently with attention to detail and without losing a “big picture” perspective.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (significant Excel and Word use)
Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to travel locally and regionally and have a valid driver’s license
Reside within the Greater San Francisco Bay Area region.
Ability to lift 35 pounds to assist with event setup
An ability to take the work seriously without taking yourself too seriously.

Previous experience supporting commuter programs, outreach, or engagement
Salesforce knowledge is a bonus
