Overview
RES is the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 328 stream miles, 58,024 wetland acres, and rehabilitated, preserved, and/or managed over 15,000 acres of special-status species habitats. RES operations include planting over 17,400,000 restorative trees and reducing over 267 tons of polluting nutrients. RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability through the establishment of mitigation/conservation banks, permittee responsible turnkey mitigation, and corporate social responsibility projects.



The Environmental Solutions Analyst will work in support of the Client Solutions Manager (CSM) to evaluate potential projects, quantify regional demand, and assist in compiling and delivering comprehensive ecological restoration and water resource solutions for clients.

Responsibilities
Supports assigned CSM(s) throughout all stages of project development, providing CSM(s) with critical analysis and deliverables to enable parallel processing of multiple project opportunities
Supports the client relationship and prospects/identifies/enables prioritization of potential projects
Informs and supports the project – responsible for production of presentations, maps, impact/offset analyses, qualifications packages, white papers, proposals, and other key client deliverables
Owns the development of consistent and reliable insights in key markets to increase the sales pipeline, conduct diligence and inform deal pursuit
Supports relationships with stakeholders in target geography, including consultants
Monitors and engages in client/stakeholder events and outreach
Core Competencies:

Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work with ambiguity
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Pro
Ability to build, manipulate and summarize large sets of data
Strong technical and creative writing skills
Possesses functional knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and permits such as: Section 404 Permit Program (Clean Water Act), Endangered Species Act Section 7 and 10, local stormwater regulations, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:



BS/BA
2+ years of applicable professional experience (can be concurrent with educational years)
Strong research and writing skills
Environmental/Engineering/Project Development/Regulatory/NGO Experience
Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills


Desired Experience:



3+ years of applicable professional experience
Direct working experience with RES key client sectors
Client-focused, performance-driven execution
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) skills – must know how to create thematic maps and create shapefiles using tabular data
Excel: Ability to use pivot tables and index matches
Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations including NPDES, NEPA, and state regulatory programs
