The Delta Stewardship Council is seeking a dynamic and highly-effective individual for an exciting opportunity to serve as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) supporting the Regulatory Review Unit within the Planning and Performance Division. This position supports the Regulatory Review Unit’s efforts to track and review environmental documentation for proposed projects in the Delta, coordinate consultations with state and local public agencies proposing projects in the Delta, administer the Council’s regulatory certification of consistency and appeals processes, and implement the Council's appeals procedures. The position also provides critical records management supporting the Council’s compliance with regulatory requirements under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Administrative Procedures Act (APA), and Public Records Act (PRA). This position requires the incumbent to work productively in a demanding environment and meet short processing timelines when necessary.
