We are looking for a Planner with strong writing and analytical skills to work on a range of long-range planning assignments, such as general plans, specific and community plans, and zoning. Projects are located throughout California. Work will involve research and analysis, preparing plans and environmental review (CEQA) documents, and assisting with community outreach and project coordination. Ideal candidate will have exposure to California planning practice and/or geographic familiarity with the state, some prior experience in land use or environmental planning, and interest in contemporary issues such as climate change and sustainability.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Graduate degree in urban planning
• Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills
• Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS and Adobe CS
