Open Position

Strategic Economics is looking for an intern with strong analytical, research and writing skills, as well as background knowledge and interest in regional and local planning, real estate economics, and economic development. Under the direction of senior staff, the intern will conduct data analysis, modeling, and qualitative research to support a variety of projects that might include:
 Market analysis for real estate and planning projects;
 Fiscal impact analysis; and
 Regional economic analysis.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Excel, ArcGIS skills, and familiarity with basic statistical methods. Candidates who have already completed a first year in a Masters program (in city planning, public policy, or related fields) are preferred.

Time commitment: 10 – 20 hours/week
