Parisi Transportation Consulting is seeking to hire a proven and creative transportation engineer and/or planner with five to 10 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, and/or urban planning and design. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation/Urban Planning, or a related major; preferred candidates will have professional certification as a PE, EIT or AICP. The person hired will have excellent oral and written communication abilities, outstanding interpersonal skills, and experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning, including modeling software and transportation systems design. The candidate will also have a proven background in pedestrian, bicycle facility, and Complete Streets planning and design, and use of geographic information systems and graphic design software.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other members of the Parisi team and will also manage a variety of projects and tasks, including traffic engineering, transportation planning, Complete Streets, Safe Routes to Schools, pedestrian and bicycle facility planning and design assignments. He/she will participate in field reviews, make presentations, and prepare technical and attractive reports. The successful hire will provide technical expertise, apply innovation and energy to projects, ensure the quality of deliverables, and participate in pursuing new business opportunities.
