The Berkeley office of PlaceWorks is seeking a Marketing & Production Assistant to help prepare and produce proposals and statements of qualifications (SOQs). The Marketing & Production Assistant must be able to work closely with the marketing and production team to meet deadlines on a weekly basis, often meeting multiple deadlines per week. Candidate must be extremely organized and willing to work with staff across offices and subconsultants from a wide variety of disciplines. Familiarity with the fields of land use planning, design, and/or environmental review is a plus, but is not required.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and must be very proficient in Microsoft Word.

The Marketing & Production Assistant will help to:

- Write, review, and edit specific components of proposals and SOQs.
- Coordinate and assemble text, graphics, covers, and other needed components for proposals and SOQs.
- Research new leads and marketing opportunities.
- Produce complete hard copies of proposals and SOQs for clients.
