Under the supervision of the YBike Program Coordinator, this position is responsible for maintaining and operating after-school YBike bicycle safety education programs for elementary- and middle-school youth at multiple off-site public middle school sites. Bike Program Staff will also work one-day bike rodeos at elementary schools sites as well as other community- and city-wide events and outreach efforts, such as Bike to School Day; assist with Safe Routes to School pedestrian and bicycle safety education programs; assist with in-school P.E. programs; lead monthly family and youth bicycling-related classes at the Presidio Community YMCA; or assisting with other related YBike programs at the Presidio Community YMCA. All programs should be administered in a manner consistent with YMCA goals and policies.

This position is 20 hours per week. Hours may vary slightly in accordance with the SFUSD calendar, program needs, and weekend excursions.
