Community Design + Architecture is looking for a Project Urban Designer with a focus on streetscape and public open space design, bicycle and pedestrian facility design, and an understanding of the linkages between transportation and land use. Candidates should have good Adobe Suite, CAD, and writing skills and 5 to 10 years of professional experience.

Required Experience: Candidates for the Project Urban Designer position should have a minimum of five years of professional experience in urban design, multi-modal transportation design and policy, or landscape design.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have strong graphic and CAD skills, as well as research, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. Additionally, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in city and regional planning, transportation, landscape architecture, and/or architecture. Candidates should be proficient with computer programs, including the MS Office and Adobe suite of programs, SketchUp, AutoCAD and Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite programs. More advanced experience with ESRI ArcGIS or ArcEditor and the analysis tool INDEX is a plus. Salary for the position is dependent upon qualifications.
