JOB DESCRIPTION: The Town of Corte Madera is seeking one employee to perform a full range of professional planning duties in the fields of current and advance land use and environmental planning, including special projects and research; will provide planning and zoning information regarding ordinances, policies, processes, and requirements for proposed development and other planning related activities; and will process applications and appeals of planning decisions Placement at the Associate or Senior level will depend on qualifications.

Associate Planner: 2 years of responsible professional urban planning experience.

Senior Planner: 4 years of responsible professional urban planning experience.

Both levels: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning, public administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is desirable.
