The incumbent is part of a trail team that implements the Comprehensive Management and Use Plan for the 1200-mile Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail. The incumbent will deliver innovative, comprehensive planning that assures trail preservation and protection, development of the recreational trail, ensuring maintenance and enhanced visitor experiences. The job requires collaborative coordination to develop and maintain cooperative relationships with multiple federal, state, local, and private interests to attain NPS management objectives for trail preservation, promotion and stewardship. The incumbent should have skills in writing, facilitation, project management, volunteer management, and community relations.
This position is located in the Pacific west Regional office in the Office of the Superintendent for the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail, San Francisco, CA
