Transportation for America has a great fellowship opportunity that's perfect for a strong writer and communicator who's passionate about transportation and/or planning issues at the federal, state and local level. Either a planning or journalism background/education will help you tremendously. We're looking for someone first and foremost that can write clearly and directly about complicated transportation planning and funding issues. But we'd love to find someone with social media savvy and presence, and hopefully a bit of web savvy with CSS, HTML and Wordpress. This person will be doing a lot of interviews of local leaders and experts and writing longer profiles and articles, as well as a range of other communications-related work like contributing to our online organizing and social media presences.
