The Trust for Public Land is a national, nonprofit organization that creates parks and protects land for people, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come. Our San Francisco office is seeking a summer intern to support our Conservation Vision & GIS Department. Through Conservation Vision, TPL helps agencies and communities define conservation priorities, identify lands to be protected, and plan networks of conserved land that meet public need.

Responsibilities: The summer intern will work with a team of 3 staff to assist the Conservation Vision & GIS department with delivering Greenprints and other projects related to regional open space planning as well as park evaluations. The Trust for Public Land’s award-winning Greenprinting service helps communities and regions make informed decisions about how to grow while preserving community character, opportunities for recreation, clean water, environmental benefits, and quality of life.
