The Oakland Heritage Alliance (a non-profit) advocates for the protection, preservation, and revitalization of Oakland's architectural, historic, cultural and natural resources through publications, education, and direct action. They are hiring a part-time administrative director, pay is $20-$24/hour. One evening a week is required for the Board meeting, but otherwise it's a day-time job and could be perfect for someone working around their children's school schedule.
