Develops, organizes, directs and evaluates a comprehensive program to inform the community and the public of the activities and objectives of the Big Blue Bus. Consults with and advises top management on the community relations implications of the Department’s activities. Requires: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a closely related field. Four years of recent, paid work experience in the areas of community relations, public relations, public affairs, marketing, speech writing and/or communications. Two years of recent, paid supervisory experience and/or one year of recent, paid supervisory experience and successful completion of the City of Santa Monica’s Pre-Supervisory Academy and promoting public transportation services is desirable. Possession of a valid class C driver license.

(Salary $7,163-$8,843/mo) plus excellent benefits.
