The City of Livermore is currently accepting applications for Assistant Planner and Associate Planner in the Planning Division of the Community and Economic Development Department. The two vacancies will be filled at the Assistant or at the Associate level.

Assistant Planner candidates require one year of experience in land use planning and/or regulation.

Associate Planner candidates require three years of professional land use and/or transportation planning experience. Public sector experience is desirable. Education requirement is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major in planning, architecture, transportation studies, geography, landscape architecture, public administration, or closely related field. A Master’s degree in planning may substitute for one year of the required experience.
