Does worrying about how to price and regulate parking keep you up at night?

Have you ever wondered how to implement BRT in a dense environment?

Do you get excited about deciding how a regional bike sharing program should be implemented?

Are you curious about the potential role of technology and the private sector in delivering transportation?

Do you like climates that are neither too hot nor too cold?

Do you like being asked questions like this?

If you answered yes to most or all of these questions, and you are looking for an internship, then we have an opportunity at a fast-paced, dynamic agency in the heart of beautiful San Francisco. The San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA) is looking for hard working and talented individuals to work on projects at the forefront of North American planning.

The Transportation Authority's Planning Division leads a wide variety of innovative transportation planning studies and policy analyses. The Planning staff is currently developing the San Francisco Transportation Plan, the city's multimodal transportation plan and investment policy for the next 30 years. Our work program also includes the Van Ness Avenue and Geary Corridor Bus Rapid Transit projects, area and corridor studies across San Francisco's diverse neighborhoods, projects to advance transportation demand management and pricing programs, and policy and funding development.
