Conservation and Outdoor Recreation - Community Assistance Fellowship
The National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance program (NPS-RTCA) and the Hispanic Access Foundation are seeking a Community Assistance Fellow. The fellow will serve communities primarily in Nevada and northern California as part of the NPS-RTCA team, which provides a range of assistance to support community-led natural resource conservation and outdoor recreation projects. Location: San Francisco, CA. Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates located elsewhere in northern or central California or Nevada.
Length: 11 months (47 weeks) beginning mid-June, 2022 - 40 hours/week
Applicants should be age 18 – 35, and have a degree in a related field. See link below for more details about desired qualifications and fellowship duties.
Compensation includes living allowance, housing stipend, health insurance, financial support for travel and training, and Public Land Corps Eligibility (a non-competitive hiring option for federal service).
