Salary:$8,545 - $9,702 per month (new to state service will start at the minimum salary range)

Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of the Housing Policy Development Division (HPD), the Staff Services Manager Ill serves as the Department's executive level administrator of housing program and policy development with responsibility for overseeing interagency and interdepartmental coordination around climate, transportation, resiliency, public health, and homelessness. The Staff Services Manager Ill will be responsible for providing a high level of assistance through policy expertise to all internal HCD divisions, including the financial assistance programs provided through the Division of Federal and State Financial Assistance, and assisting with policy and legislative analysis with the Legislative Division. The Staff Services Manager Ill will also serve as the primary point of contact for all intergovernmental work at the local, state, and federal levels, building partnerships and providing housing policy expertise where it intersects with other governmental work on homelessness, health, transportation, and environmental (including greenhouse gas reduction, climate adaptation and resiliency, and disaster relief) policy. The Staff Services Manager III will closely collaborate with other members of the division to keep them informed on interagency and interdepartmental activities and seek feedback on Departmental policy.
