This Quality Control Assistant is responsible for a variety of analytical skills including quality control/assurance initiatives, managing large databases of information, data tracking and ensuring timely submittals are delivered to customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Management of Databases and Submittal Spreadsheets
• Effectively track and manage project details
• Support GIS requirements for large, on-going projects
• Responsible for assigned project deadlines
• Review data for discrepancies
• Maintain accurate data record keeping
• Review all contracts and supply critical information to appropriate resources
• Act as customer and field liaison for branch
• Manage complex projects from the beginning through completion stage.
• Develop and maintain GIS dataset
• Create Thematic maps and digitize information for analysis
• Data management and identifying areas that cause potential conflict.
• Ability to navigate in various computer and IT systems
• Formulating quality control standards.
• Develop and improve reports and processes for delivering of data.
• Coordinate with IT experts, project engineers in planning, data collection, data variables and storage
• Follow established Company policies, procedures and practices


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager

• Strong attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
• Excellent command of the language with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management, outside vendors and customers.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, procedures manuals, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to create and edit documents and spreadsheets.
• Ability to analyze situations, gather appropriate facts and determine appropriate action
• Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with co-workers, vendors, and the general public and other personnel.


• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and prioritizing projects with multiple and often competing deadlines, and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability, interest and willingness to create tools and processes to improve efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Minimum three years of data management experience
• 2-3 years of GIS experience
• Previous experience in construction industry preferred
