RES navigates and streamlines the environmental permitting process with solutions that balance economic development and ecological sustainability through the establishment of mitigation/conservation banks, permittee responsible turnkey mitigation, and corporate social responsibility projects.

RES, the nation’s only fully-scaled operating company providing ecological restoration and water resource solutions, is looking to add a Proposals Coordinator to our team. As Proposals Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the proposal process to help support our growing nationwide footprint. You will have the opportunity to work with team members across department and functions, providing input, guidance, and comments for proposal development, as you assure each proposal is complete and consistent with RES requirements. Time management and attention to detail are essential for this position, as you will manage multiple proposals simultaneously and their associated delivery timetables. You are responsible for the creation, organization, development, and production of proposals and other formally requested information to professionally position RES.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with members of sales, technical, and region & executive leadership teams throughout the entire proposal development cycle and support with research, writing, editing, formatting and quality check of text and graphics

Participate in proposal kick-off and planning calls
Organize and coordinate proposal stakeholder teams, clearly communicating roles, responsibilities, assignments, and deadlines with team members

Write content for non-technical proposal sections, marketing materials, and coordinate writing assignments among multiple authors
Compile resumes, project descriptions, standard and example text, and other information from a variety of internal and external databases, internet and intranet sites, and other content sources

Assist with creative conceptualization and design of proposals including appropriate graphics

Manage proposal timelines and deadlines, allotting sufficient time for editing, layout, and design

Ensure all assignments are completed and submitted on time
Assure compliance with all bid/proposal requirements including forms, page limits, and supporting materials

Perform self-check of work products to eliminate repeat errors and demonstrate constant improvement in deliverables

Gather lessons-learned and positive actions at the submittal of proposals to enable process improvement and higher win rates

Participate in training and knowledge sharing activities

Archive proposal content in a timely and quality manner

Assist with other projects as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum:
Associates degree with 5+ years proposal development experience OR BS/BA in Communications 2+ year proposals development experience
Proven experience as a proposal coordinator
Knowledge of proposal processes and best practices
Strong abilities using MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)
Prior experience preparing SF330 and proposals for public sector clients
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Must have the ability to motivate and manage internal clients and external partners
Knowhow and patience to produce and package high-quality proposal submissions
Superior attention to detail and ability to handle multiple deadlines
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
Discretion to handle confidential data
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals and proposal process improvements

Desired:

BS/BA Communications with 4-years related experience
4 years Proposals development experience in an environmental consulting firm or contracting/E&C company
Experience with design software, such as Adobe InDesign
