Inspired Independence is focused on designing backyard cottages as a way to provide affordable, accessible, and inspired housing in the Bay Area. As leaders in this growing industry we are looking for a versital, motivated designer/drafter to:
• Work on the architectural permit sets for our active projects
• Develop standard plans sets, creating standard sheets/details
• Conduct site visits and code analysis (don’t worry we will teach you how)
• Visit construction job sites – document the process
• Generate and post on Facebook and Instagram
• Create marketing materials: handouts, postcards, email campaigns and more
• Attend panel discussions and workshops with our team

Inspired Independence is a division of Larson Shores Architecture and Interiors. Based on work load you may also work on larger architectural projects.

Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, InDesign, and Photoshop
Word, Excel, and Outlook
Completed 2 years in an architectural program

We realized you are just finishing school and finals and are stressed (we have kids in college too). But you do need a job this summer.
