San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is searching for an innovative, visionary leader who views public transportation as a social justice issue and has the knowledge, skills, and ability to direct a large, complex transit operation. The Executive Director of Transportation will oversee student transportation to and from more than 140 school sites throughout SFUSD; use transportation services as a lever to disrupt systemic inequities; analyze and modernize existing pupil transit systems; and model innovative and effective practices for school districts across the country.
