The Concord Group is seeking to hire for the temporary Research Intern position in its San Francisco office. Researchers are integral to the daily operation of the firm, and will have an active role in assisting fellow staff members in market research and project work. Real estate experience is not required, although interest is real estate, land use, urban economics, and similar fields is essential. Researcher duties will include:
• Planning and conducting essential research and interviews with real estate professionals and government agencies;
• Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of associates and principals;
• Conducting in-depth primary research via phone and through online resources; and
• Interacting with team members and principals.
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
• Professional and conversant phone demeanor;
• Intuitive problem-solving capacity;
• Ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-pace environment; and
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable educational institution (in-progress or recently graduated)

The Research Intern position is a part-time, hourly position. Ideally candidates will be able to work from December through February with potential for further employment based on availability.
