Job Description and Duties
The position is located in Stockton. Caltrans District 10 has an opportunity for an Associate Transportation Planner to provide Regional, Community, and Transit Planning, Native American Liaison, and Intergovernmental Review (IGR) services for the Rural and Metropolitan Planning Branches. The incumbent Associate Transportation Planner (ATP) will provide transportation planning expertise including technical assistance and support for internal and external transportation partners. Strong writing, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential in this position. Experience with communication and consultation with Native American Tribes is desired. Environmental and/or land use planning experience, and mapping, data management, and presentation skills are desired.
