Help evaluate traffic safety conditions in San Francisco!

The San Francisco Department of Public Health is looking for people to help with data collection for a time-limited project to assess the impact of a speeding education safety and enforcement campaign. Interested applicants should have some basic data collection experience, be well-organized and detail-oriented, and be able to commit to collecting data on a part-time basis from April 2015 – May 2016. Training will be provided. Pay is $18/hour.

Successful applicants must be able to:
o Travel to specific San Francisco streets to collect observational and/or brief in-person interview data;
o Participate in paid training sessions starting mid-March 2015 (hours/days somewhat flexible based on staff availability - but will be during weekdays during the period of 10am-3pm);
o Complete data collection and data entry for the project from April 2015 – May 2016. (Scheduling/hours are somewhat flexible but work hours may be irregular from week to week depending on the campaign’s progress. Must be able to work evenings and weekends on occasion.)

Interest applicants should apply as soon as possible by sending a resume, cover letter, days and hours of availability during the week, and contact information for at least two professional references to the following email or mailing address by 5pm Friday, March 4th.
