Under new management, the Planning and Development Department is seeking a creative and motivated individual with an outstanding professional record to serve as Deputy under Director Maurice Cox. The Deputy Director will be responsible for managing geographically dedicated Planning and Design Divisions, the Strategic Planning Division and overseeing operations support. The Deputy Director will also direct the establishment of community-located design resource centers, “homebases” for urban design, planning and community engagement within a specific geographic region of the city.
