Enterprise Community Partners is working closely with the City of Oakland’s Office of the Mayor on the challenge of keeping the city affordable for artists of all kinds to live and work. For at least the following 4-5 months, we need an intern to join our team with the City’s team and a new Artist Housing Live and Workspace Task Force. The intern will assist with: a) select project management and logistics associated with a dozen meetings, b) discrete research and writing projects, and c) writing a final report that captures the work of the Task Force. This is a paid internship for 10-12 hours per week.

Enterprise's team of ~12 people is located in the heart of San Francisco's financial district.

Candidates must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled in graduate level coursework in one of the following fields (city and regional planning, public policy, and/or business administration).

Position details are as follows:
Term up to 5 months paid: Starting as early as early August and as late as early September through December 2015.

Primary required skills: 1. Knowledge of and interest in land use and housing policy -with particular interest and skills associated with managing displacement pressures with policy solutions, 2. Good writer, 3. Takes initiative and solves problems, 4. Solid people skills, 5. Excellent organizational skills, 6. Reliable execution skills.
